Mega Shark Vs. Giant Octopus

Co-host Jeffery "Quint" Heatherly and I discuss Ace Hannah's Mega Shark Vs. Giant Octopus (2009). The title is self-explanatory. With its likable characters, ridiculous dialogue and ludicrous action sequences, it's safe to say we loved this movie. Get ready for a real thrilla in Manilla.

Santa's Slay

In this special collaborative episode, Original Unoriginal Podcast host Jeffery Heatherly and I discuss David Steiman's Santa's Slay (2005), the heartwarming tale of a town beset by an ancient evil: the son of Satan, Santa Claus. But should the idea of an evil Santa scare the Dickens out of you, don't worry - there's more cheer than fear in this fun holiday flick. So we invite you on this Christmas Eve to snuggle up by the fire (with eggnog and loved ones, of course) and enjoy. From everyone at Cinemantics and the O.U.P., merry Christmas!

Gremlins

Co-host Jeffery Heatherly and I get into the spirit of the holidays with Joe Dante's Gremlins (1984), one of the darkest and most twisted holiday films ever. The conversation is cute, clever, mischievous, intelligent . . . and dangerous. Just remember: Keep them out of bright light. Don't get them wet. And never feed them after midnight.

Megaforce

Words not deeds prevail as co-host Damien "Ace Hunter" Sage and I discuss Hal Needham's Megaforce (1982), perhaps the gayest action movie ever made. It has spandex, rainbows, only one female character and Barry Bostwick. Need I say more?

Ninja III: The Domination

Co-host Damien Sage and I take our katanas to Sam Firstenberg's largely plotless 1984 epic Ninja III: The Domination. The bad guy is a girl and the good guy wears an eyepatch! Sadly, we neglect to mention the scene in which Lucinda Dickey seduces Jordan Bennett by pouring V8 on herself. But doesn't that just intrigue you even more?
